More raw balls

I love a treat with my coffee and have been eating a lot of rubbish this summer – face it the bikini body was already achieved (ish) so I ate and drank my way through the sunshine. Lovely it was, now the sun is gone and its raining and I need to get back to it, if not only to stop farting… of course I am a lady but the truth is that wheat makes me gassy.  So before I go and see a person about my back I made some raw balls. What is important to know is that the reason there are so many ingredients is that I make raw balls with my leftovers… i.e. the last bits in the packets hence be creative.

Johannas Rawballs

  • 5 dates soaked in hotwater
  • 1.5 dl of sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbs of lucuma
  • 1/2 dl of oats
  • 40 grams  dark chocolate (minimum 70%)
  • 1 tbs chia seeds
  • 1/2 dl of hazelnuts
  • 2 tbs coconut oil
  • 2 tbs peanut butter
  • salt to taste (in my case quite a lot)

Mix and blitz the dry ingredients – add the dates chopped up, the peanut butter and coconut oil.  Add some of the date water if it is too dry.

Roll into balls – I then place them in the freezer until I take one out and have it.  The trick to good eating is just like in the scouts – be prepared!  Enjoy.
